The
Queen's royal visit was front page news in the local paper in Ludlow,
Shropshire - 'The Queen of Smiles'. Shakespeare's "A Winter's Tale",
performed in the castle grounds, was still in the air from the previous
evening. It's a sombre story that could have become a tragedy but there's
a wonderful lightness and playfulness in the second half - as this picture
shows. The old castle is on the horizon. The second part is
an artist's impression inspired from a glimpse into a neighbouring churchyard
with huge drifts of wispy pink willowherb.
In less than one week, this picture was given a new role as a design for wellbeing and investment for a business in south east England, 150 miles away.
